Fellow collector Brett McDonald sent in a few photos of his ever-growing collection of loose and packaged Star Wars Micro Machines toys. What I really love about his pics is that they illustrate how collecting Micro Machines makes it easy to amass incredible armies of heroes and villains. Impressive… most impressive!

Great pics! That must have taken some time to set up!

Think big…play en masse.

Brett, do you collect through ebay or did you acquire these in the 90′s? I was always scouring ebay for that rare figure, and would bite the bullet if it was in a lot of duplicates!

I got most of my collection as a kid and then did what you did, Brian: I scoured e-bay for the last few ultra-rare figures. I wonder how Brett kept all his TIE Fighters intact. Those little guys break if you breathe on them.

Brian, sweet, you posted my photos. I meant to reply I got a little distracted. At one point as a kid in the 90′s I had a TON of figures and playsets. Of course I opened them all and managed to eventually get rid of all my playsets. I did however hang on to most of my figures. I collected a nice portion on ebay, and ended up buying all the playsets on ebay again lol + the other boxes you see there. If I only as a kid I knew to just not open them and save them, and play with some rocks instead. My figure collection is a lot bigger now, so is my boxsets/playsets. I will take some more photos, better ones of the figures + boxsets/playsets. :)

Cool Brett, same as me. Don’t feel bad about opening the packages, these things were meant to be displayed. Also, a quick correction– I didn’t post the photos, it’s Jad’s website, he does the updates and posts the photos!

And bordigan, what ‘new” sets do you have?

Brett - February 12, 2012

Brian, sorry for a second there I thought you were jad. Don’t ask me how lol. My mistake.

I sha’ll take a much better picture of all my sets and stuff. Actually I don’t just collect Star wars micro machines.

I also almost have the complete Micro Machines Military collection. Which honestly was MUCH more difficult to put together. I have roughly 72 of the playsets for that collection and and still missing only 6. It was very, very, very difficult to figure out how many there were and try to collect them. I don’t know if Jad would want pictures of that considering this is a specific blog.

I will forward some pictures to Jad soon of the new Star wars MM items I have collected. Like I said I have a lot more figures, and some other rare mini heads, and some other cool micro machines related hard to find starwars merchandise :) this time though I think I will just take pictures of all my stuff as is, in the boxes/containers I have them all in. I’ll keep him updated, and you.
